The undergraduate program of the Department of Physics has a duration of four years (8 semesters) and leads to the acquisition of a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. It includes 26 core courses, which cover the fundamental knowledge of the field, as well as approximately 48 elective courses that cover a wide range of specialized subjects.
In the Department of Physics, three Postgraduate Programs (MSc) are offered:
- MSc in Physics with Specializations in Theoretical and Experimental Physics,
- MSc in Atmospheric Sciences and Environment, and
- MSc in Modern Electronic Technologies
which lead to the acquisition of a Master’s Degree (MSc).
The Doctoral Studies Programme of the Department of Physics has been operating since the late 1980s and is a continuation of the corresponding M.Sc. programmes.
