Computer Operation Knowledge Certificate

The General Assembly of the Department decided to issue a Certificate of Computer Operating Knowledge for ASEP(ΑΣΕΠ).

The certificate is granted by successful examination of at least four undergraduate courses (3 Compulsory Courses and at least 1 Optional).

The four courses required to obtain the above certificate from the Physics Department include the following courses:

 

THREE COMPULSORY COURSES

1) Introduction to Computers

2) Programming Languages

3) Laboratory Courses in Electromagnetism

 

and at least 1 OPTIONAL COURSE from the following:

1) COMPUTATIONAL METHODS IN PHYSICS

2) MATHEMATICS AND PHYSICS WITH COMPUTERS

3) NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN EDUCATION
 

4) INTERNET APPLICATIONS

5) OBJECT-ORIENTED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES

6) COMPUTER MEASUREMENTS AND AUTOMATICS

CLARIFICATIONS:

The compulsory "Introduction to Computers" and "Programming Languages" can be matched with the "Introduction to Computer Methods I" and "Introduction to Computer Methods II" courses of the old program.

The compulsory course " Laboratory Courses in Electromagnetism " can be matched with the course "Physics Laboratories II".

The optional course "Mathematics and Physics with Computers" can be matched with the course "Computer Applications in Research and Teaching Physics" of the old program.

The elective course "New Technologies in Education" corresponds to the course "New Technologies in Teaching of the Natural Sciences".
